Dear Diary,
What a busy day it has been. I woke up at four o'clock in the morning. The school pick- up van came soon thereafter. Together with Driver Chacha, I went to pick the entire group of twenty students of our Mother Teresa Club.
Being the Secretary of the Club, I had to supervise the entire assignment as directed by our Principal.
Our Club was thrusted the responsibility of visiting the Jeevan Deep orphanage in our city to create an awareness of healthy Iiving and also to carry out some programmes for the orphans.
At the orphanage we taught the children how to properly rinse their hands with a sanitiser, how to cough and sneeze with a folded elbow on our nose, how and why to use a mask.
We then played some games with the children such as treasure hunt, tailing the donkey.
We also showed them a small movie on our lap tops on health and sanitation.
The whole day slipped away in a wink. Though totally exhausted, I have enjoyed it thoroughly. I now have to prepare a report for our Principal about the activities of the day.
Being the Secretary , I will prepare a Power Presentation of our activities to show the club members and the entire school to motivate them to perform such activities.
Loads of work and little time, so good night for today.
