Dear Diary,
I feel proud to tell you that my school had organised an event for promoting plantation of trees. I was so happy to be a part of it. It was really nice to see students come up with ideas on saving our environment.

I was absolutely thrilled to know that planting a tree is so much fun. I felt like a parent to the seeds I sowed. I was amazed to learn about how plantation helps us in so many ways. I was also excited to share all this with you and my other friends. I am very happy to have contributed whatever small bit I could for a greener city.
Sushmita

Hey,

Here's the diary entry you need,

Date :- Dd/Mm/Yy

Dear Diary,

› We had our school organise an event of some sort that was held a week ago in the local playground located just behind our school building. The event had the theme of promoting tree plantation, which is, a theme worth praising. Being a student of class 7th, particularly amateur in planting trees, we weren't allowed to plant anything but we're given the permission of helping our senior mates and the rest of the teachers busy in the plantation.

› It took us a whole lot of a day to cover the playground with the smallest of all nursery plants which would sway their sparkly and bright green leaves joyfully in the future. We also had our guardians helping us and several speeches and drawing competition based on the theme were held too. I participated in one of them and brought home a trophy too!

› The plantation also taught us kids the grave importance of trees and that also led to the ignition of that protective fire within us which would help us to protect our world and make it a green and better place.

› Enough for today! I'll see you the next day with another adventure of mine! Good night! I'm going abed!

Sushmita
