Today our school took part in the event promoting a greener city. We launched some rally's for a couple of hours about the importance of a green city and the effect city pollution has on the environment. It was so much fun. I myself learned a lot of things which I didn't know and it was amazing explaining the people. We all know that mother earth is in danger of global warming and the greenhouse gases are increasing day after day. I did not know till now that it was such a serious issue. We also explained people about the importance of dumping garbage n the right places and how the dirty garbage can cause diseases. We explained people about the importance of growing trees all across the city and the benefits we get from it. I enjoyed this day a lot and I'm looking forward to more such days ahead. I also joined our local Green City Campaign as a volunteer. Now, I'll be helping the campaign on every weekend. I'm so excited to do this and help our city become green.
