Once upon a time, a daughter complained to her father about just how miserable her life was and how she didn't know how she was going to make ends meet. She was exhausted from constantly fighting and struggling. It seemed that as soon as one problem was solved, another one arose. Her restaurateur father took her to the fridge. He filled three pots with water and set them on high heat. When the three pots started to boil, he put potatoes in one, eggs in the other, and ground coffee beans in the third. He then left them to boil without simply stating anything at all to his daughter.
The daughter moaned and waited impatiently, wondering what he was up to. He turned off the stoves after twenty minutes. He drained the potatoes and placed them in a bowl. He took the eggs and placed them in a bowl. He then ladled out another coffee and poured everything into a cup.
He inquired her a question. "What do you see, daughter?". "Potatoes, eggs, and coffee," she responded immediately. "Look closer, and touch the potatoes," he advised. She did, and she noticed how soft they were. He then instructed her to break an egg. She examined the hard-boiled egg after removing the shell. Ultimately, he asked her to take a drink of her coffee. Its intoxicating aroma made her smile.
"What does this mean, Father?" she solicited. He proceeded to explain that the potatoes, eggs, and coffee beans had all encountered the same difficulties in boiling water. Each one, however, responded differently. The potato wound up going in strong, hard, and unyielding, but it softened and weakened in boiling water. The egg was delicate, with a thin outer shell protecting its liquid interior until it was immersed in boiling water. The inside of the egg then hardens. The ground coffee beans, on the other hand, were one-of-a-kind. They changed the water and created something new after being exposed to boiling water. "Which one are you?" he questioned his daughter.
