     In today's world, clean, fresh water is a limited resource. Each and everyone in Earth needs water to survive. So it becomes extremely important to conserve water resources.

REASONS FOR CONSERVING WATER:

• Water is a scarce and finite source.
• Water is necessary for life.
• It minimizes the effects of drought and water shortages.
• Water grows food.
• It protects our ecosystem and wildlife.

• It gives future generations the opportunity to thrive.

ENVIRONMENTAL METHODS FOR WATER CONSERVATION:

• Increasing forest cover.
• Updating to modern irrigation methods.
• Water conservation legislation.
• Water redistribution.
• Better incentives.

WAYS TO CONSERVE WATER AT HOME:

• Take shorter showers.
• Update your appliances.
• Use the dishwasher, if possible.
• Skip the garbage disposal.
• Turn off the water when not needed.
• Check for leaky faucets.

• It is being observed that there is very much wastage of water UP and would like to share few points and resolve this issue.

Why do we need to conserve water?

• Water is the basic need of each and every human being.
• Nowadays, water is being used unnecessarily by a majority of the people and there is no control over water usage.
• There are people who have no idea how water wastage now would lead the entire world to be without water after a few years.
• Without water, anything on earth cannot be saved.
• To save the earth, to save people in our country or in our respective states we need to start conserving water.

Steps to be taken to conserve water:

• Small steps taken now by us can give a very positive impact regarding the water issue in the future.
• Firstly, we should start saving water from our respective homes.
• Avoid using water unnecessarily and turn off the tap if there is no usage of water at that moment, for example, leaving the water tap on during brushing, washing vessels, etc
• During a bath, the required amount of water to be used, not extra.
• An important point to keep in mind is Rain Harvesting - this would work miracles if done properly and usage of rainwater is best when it comes to health too.
• Keeping a check on water quantity meters and try to reduce the usage there.
• Avoid shower bath and taking bath with a bucket as water is less used and not just drained.
• Initiations of their own can be taken by people to save water and understand the value of water conservation.
