The grand show commenced by the arrival of various teams from schools. Then the Chief Guest, the District Collector ,of our District, arrived with his wife. There was a colourful welcome followed by lighting of the lamp. It was accompanied by a melodious Saraswati Vandana , hailing the goddess of knowledge and wisdom. It was followed by a welcome speech given by the Principal of our school. Then there was bouquet presentation to the invited guests and the grand event began. It was a truly mesmerizing show as the teams from various schools presented many programmes . there was singing, dancing, poetry recitation, skits, mimicry, mono act shows, classical and modern combination of several foot tapping numbers. Everyone sat glued to the show. The Chief Guest praised the entire event a lot. He guided with his inspirational words and inspired to do better . It was followed by the announcement of the winning team , ABC School of our city. The team from our school bagged second position and everyone complimented one another. It was followed by aformal vote of thanks and the event concluded.
We really enjoyed a lot and dispersed with a sincere hope that such mega events should be organized time and again giving the students a chance to display their talents.

The Cultural Programme was held on 4 February, 2022, at Mayo Auditorium in Bangalore. It was held on the occasion of Diwali, and was organized by The Cultural Association of Bangalore (C.A.B).
The Honorable District Collector, Mr. Subramanian, along with his wife, Mrs. Swetha, was the Chief Guest of the Cultural Programme. Mr. Subramanian cut the inaugural ribbon as a token of greeting and gratitude, followed by lighting of lamps by Mrs. Swetha.
There were many competitions for dance, music, mono-act shows, group drama, and so on. People from various schools, organizations and clubs participated in the events. The winners of the competitions were given a cash prize of five thousand rupees and a trophy by the Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest received a cordial welcome by everyone present. He commented on the children’s performance, and also participated in their activities. He gave a very inspirational speech and motivated the participants to excel in various fields. The programme served as a platform for children to showcase their talents and abilities to a large number of people.
The audience cheered the participants throughout their programme. They remained glued to their chairs and watched the events with amazement and excitement. It aroused in them the curiosity to participate in such programmes.
The programme ended with a Vote of Thanks by the Chief Guest. The Cultural Association of Bangalore arranged the programme in a remarkable manner. The stage lighting in a variety of colors was delightful. There were all the facilities available for both the participants and the audience. In my opinion, I fell the programme couldn’t have been better than this.
