Dear Diary,
Today is one of the happiest days of my life. Today, as it was the dead line for me to learn to read and write, i have accomplish it. Also, today, my dearest grand daughter gave me a book, the entire novel of Kashi Yatri.
Today i am very much happy. I can't tell how independent i am felling now. I could now read the novel on my own and i would not have to depend on others to help me read something. Now i am free to read as many books as i wish for. It is the true power of education.
Without proper knowledge and education, men and women r treated as slaves by the other people. I feel like i was a foolish that i ignored my education and let others laugh on me. I know that the circumstances were bad but i think if i would have had made my best efforts to get educated then i would surely have had achieved this feeling of joy, well in advance.
But now,  i promise myself that no matter what ever happens, i would always encourage my grand children to get educated well.
I am really proud of Sudha, who taught me to read and write so well.
