The esteemed school of Modern Art, the St. Avengers High School organized a painting competition yesterday at the school art hall. Due to the noble virus Covid-19, the competitions could not happen but this year, the principal announced the competition was in full swing. The competition lasted for 3 days. The competition was held in both online and offline modes, so schools from near and far could participate with ease. And, they did. There were almost 12 schools that participated in the competition and over 500 participants. The theme of the competition was "HOPE". Every participant seemed excited about the competition as the stakes were high. The competition was live streamed. It started with the speech of the principal followed by the art teacher who motivated the students. The competition was done on the first two days and the final day was for the results and the prize distribution ceremony. Everyone also received the participation certificate and the top five paintings were not only awarded but also went to the school magazine as the "Paintings of the Year". But even though it was a big event but not everyone could participate in it due to the timings of it. It would have been better if the event was on a weekend so that everyone could have participated and the event would have been a bigger success than it was.
