Dear Diary:

I had a wonderful time today visiting the Taj Mahal. It is one of the most beautiful historical buildings in the world. It is a World Heritage Site and attracts millions of tourists every year. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan got this architectural marvel constructed as tomb for his beloved wife, Mumtaz. There is ineffable beauty in each and everything of the Taj Mahal. The entire building with its minarets, dome, calligraphy of Persian poems on walls, motifs, inlaid work, lattice work, carvings, archways, etc. give it an ethereal look. I was mesmerized by its divine beauty. One day is not sufficient to see all the beauty of this great wonder of the world.

I  am quite happy that my dream is accomplished today. When I was a student of class eight, I often dreamed to visit the historical place in Agra. I gathered more information from Agra. I was able to see the Taj Mahal in my own eyes. When I entered inside the Taj Mahal, I felt like I was in an imaginary paradise. After all, Inside the Taj Mahal is quite calm and interesting. The Taj Mahal is truly amazing and attractive monuments in case we look at it from nearby. I met many foreigners and learnt many lessons from them. In the class eight, I got to read about the Taj Mahal that it was erected as a tomb by emperor Sah Jahan  in the memory of his beloved wife, Momtaj Mahal. It was completed in 1650. It was taken more than twenty years to build. Moreover, almost seventy three meter tall this famous heritage grave was made of the ivory-white marble.
It was very hot there in the summer so I didn't want to stay there for more time. Suddenly, I saw a pretty dog who stared at me sadly. I thought it was very hungry so yeah I gave half of my chocolates to eat. After giving chocolates to eat, wherever I went, the dog remained with me... And now I lost that dog forever. I will never forget my most enjoyable moment of going to Agra. All is well that ends well.
