Pollution - How I would tell about it to someone who doesn't know what it is:
Human beings have always caused more harm than good to the planet Earth.
And to explain it, Pollution is more than enough.
Is Pollution merely of one type?
Of course not. There are various types of pollutions. But let me tell about the major three:
There exists Water pollution, which can be defined as the contamination of water bodies like rivers, ponds, seas and oceans. Because of this, water from rivers which were easily consumed often and even treated as medicine once, now has a person consume chemical medicines if any contaminated water were to be ingested even in small quantities.
Land pollution, is- well, the degradation of land which is a result of rapid "urbanization", and excessive usage of materials that are harmful to the environment. And this has effects ranging from skin diseases to birth defects.
And one would almost think, "Surely no-one can possibly contaminate the air they breathe?" But, there's Air Pollution too. It's just like the other types of pollutions. The Air was once pure to breathe. But now, it's filled with contaminants; it makes people have respiratory diseases and many cities often carry a stench of nausea from the industries.
And though humans have done this much harm and though it seems like humanity has no hope in the future, there are some people who truly work for a better, pollution-free environment. More greener and less polluting vehicles are now already being made and they're definitely the future of automobiles.
People are now realising what they were doing wrong and are creating cleaner alternatives a better environment for them as well as their future.
I don't think I would be wrong to say that in the near future more pollution-free alternatives than today would exist and that many of us would definitely work for a better, cleaner, pollution-less environment.
