Plants are static. Dead cells give them rigidity. They also do not need any energy to maintain the dead cells.

HERE IS THE ANSWER ⤵⤵

⏪ Plants have less energy requirements as compared to animals. So, plant cells possess dead cells whereas animal cells have living cells.

⏪ As we know, plants are not mobile which means they do not show any movement, so they can live even with dead cells. But, on other hand, animals are mobile and require energy for various life processes to carry out, and hence they possess living cells.

⏪ Dead cells present in plants also provide rigidity to the plant as it is static whereas living cells in animals provide energy to them for their life processes.
