Dear Diary:
I am very upset today. My parents scolded me a lot for not studying regularly. I was hurt. May be they are right. I don’t do much self-study. Most of the time I watch TV. They are right in scolding me so. I should not mind their scolding as they mean to reform me. But they should not have scolded me in front of my aunt who was visiting us. I will also try not to give any reason to scold me. I will make a time table and study punctually and regularly. Talking to you, I am feeling lighter. Good night.
Tuesday, 31 st December, 10 p.m
Dear Diary,
All is not well that does not end well. Today is the last day of the year. I was really looking forward to going out with my friends for a New Years's Party.
But who should call my father early in the morning? My Mathematics teacher.
He tipped my father of my poor performance in the Pre-board exam and since then hell has broken loose.
My parents pounced on me like angry lions and scolded me left and right. They took away my phone and warned me that I would have to face dire consequences if I dared to step out of the house.
Going out with my friends is a far fetched dream I can not even meet them at my residence. All my story books have been put under lock and key.
What a way to end the year! I feel so upset.
You are my only confidante . Thank God they didn't take you away .
