Varshini, the head girl of GHSS, Madurai, 10October:Annual sports day was held in our school yesterday. The school authority arranged such an enthusiastic event as a part of co-circular activities .The annual sports day was held in the playground.
Siting arrangements were made for the guests and spectators were made under a large canopy.The school campus was decorated with colourful flags .The sports was stated at 8a.m when the principal hoisted the national flag .There were 25 events in which students took part according to their choice. Spectators enjoyed the excellent performance in the events.
At the end of the programmme, the winners were awarded with attractive prizes. The principal thanked the participants and declared the end of ceremony. All students, guardians, guests, teachers enjoyed the sports meet.
