At that time Indian hockey players gave their best performance through their regular wins our players won appreciation from leaders like Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Need of the hour is to produce wizards like Dhyanchand.

Therefore, as sports secretary I would encourage students to take keen interest in hockey. I hope inspirational articles to be published in your extremed newspaper will cultivate interest of the students in hockey.
