Subject: Problems due to the increasing air pollution and its solutions
Respected Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities towards the deteriorating quality of air in our city.
The pollution levels are rising daily, as a consequence of which, both environment and individuals are badly affected. My brother is asthmatic and he is facing immense breathing problems.
Since smoke from automobiles is a major factor causing air pollution, people must be encouraged to use public transport. Also, the usage of cleaner fuels like CNG should be promoted. Catalytic converters must be fitted in factories so that the harmful emission can be prevented.
I hope this letter will find a place in your daily and authorities will take stringent steps regarding the control of pollution at the earliest.
Thanking you
Yours faithfully
Aarohi Srikant
