Dear Diary,
Today, I attended Sanvy’s(example name. You can change it) birthday party. It was very fun. We had gone to watch a movie and it was fantastic. I didn’t know I would enjoy a science fiction so much! But I did, and I’m proud of myself that I didn’t embarrass myself in front of my friends because I hadn’t watched a single science fiction before. It has never been my kind of genre. But I watched it today, and I’m happy.
Later, we went to a restaurant, all 7 of us, and ordered whatever we liked. It was a fast food restaurant, so obviously I wanted to have a pizza all to myself. We all chose our favourite fast food and drinks and Sanvy’s mother paid for all of us. It was quite mesmerising that all that food still didn’t cost a lot. But I was happy, since she didn’t have to waste a lot of money. I had an idea and when no one was looking, I asked the waiter to make an announcement that there is a birthday girl present in the restaurant. The speaker then announced this and everyone was shocked and happy. The whole restaurant then raised to their feet and wished her a happy birthday with the melodious song we have always loved and adored. When it was told that it was me, she looked at me with a very happy smile and I was glad I gave her another little surprise. We were given a free cake too, which was chocolate, and all of us were awestruck. We gave little pieces to everyone in the restaurant too. It was joyous.
We concluded the night by giving her bunch of gifts on the car ride back home. Some have given her school supplies, some photo frames and some very beaufiful handmade little keychains and necklaces and all the beautiful stuff. I gave her my own little ring which had her initials on it in gold and it was studded with diamonds.
Overall, it was a marvellous night, and we all enjoyed it a lot.
