How are you? I am fine and safe here with my family and hope to hear the same from you. With deep regret I’m writing to you instead of offering
my apology personally. I feel so small to face you!
On so many occasions you had lent me your bicycle and I had returned it in the same good condition. But this time as ill luck would have it, I met
with a sudden accident that hurt me and your bicycle as well.
I was going to one of my friend’s place to take the absent notes. While returning from his place I met with an accident. The road was empty so I
was paddling at my quickest. All of a sudden a scooter from behind tried to overtake me. He was in such a high speed that he had not seen the
deep pot-hole before him. As a result he fell down with a thud, and the scooter came headlong on me. Luckily it just skirted the cycle throwing me
down and damaged the hind wheel. Somehow I had managed to get up and kept the cycle to the nearest repairing shop and them came home
with a rickshaw. The moment I feel little better I will return your bicycle.
I’m really ashamed for my action. As it is already a week past and you must have been worried for your bicycle so I informed you.
Convey my warmest regards to uncle and aunt and lots of love for you and your little brother. Once again I am extremely sorry for my deeds.
