Dear Friend,
I am sorry to inform you that I broke your spectacles. You missed it in school and I thought of taking it back home and returning it to you tomorrow. But unfortunately, I was drenched in the rain and is slipped which broke your spectacles. I was on the way home from coaching class and it started pouring down heavily. The rain was so heavy that the streets were flooded and i could not stop anywhere. I searched shelter but i could not find any. I know it is my responsibility to take care of your spectacles. I am sorry. I promise to buy you new spectacles.
Yours Lovingly,
