Dear Diary,

Today was the first day of my school. I am promoted to class 9th and there is one more new admission and his name is Kartik. I study in an english-medium school and it is necessary for the students to speak in english. Kartik is a well behaved child. He talked to me politely, I introduced him to my friends and told him to speak in english. He was having a lit bit of difficulty speaking in english. My friends started making fun of him and one of them started to tease Kartik. I stopped them and asked Kartik to have some time with me alone. I said to him politely that from now on no matter what anyone says to you, you will not stop speaking in english. He promised me that he will talk in english and improve it.
