Explanation:

• For using the different views in PowerPoint XP,  

            1.    Click the View button or

            2.   Click View Slide Sorter.  

• This view gives you a great view of your presentation as a whole, lets you to Rearrange and Hide your slides.     

• The Slides tab allows you to hide or display text formatting and to see whether slides are hidden.

• Hence in the Slide Sorter view, you can see a miniature of each slide.
