You can't live without iron. Where in the body is most of the iron located?

Iron is mostly stored in liver.
It is stored as ferritine or hemosiderin.
Ferritine is a protine with a capacity of about 4500 iron .
it is found in most tissues as a cytosolic protein. but small amount secreated into the serum where it functions as an iron carrier.

Most of the iron is located in the red blood cells which is in blood therefore the most iron is located in the blood
