You continue in the Dungeon of Logic and come across three doors; one contains escape, and the other two lead to bottomless pits.

The doors have signs. You know the door that leads to escape has a sign that is false and the other signs are true.

Door 1: Escape is behind door 2
Door 2: Escape is behind door 3
Door 3: Escape is not behind this door

Which door should you take to escape? (Remember, the sign on the door that leads to escape is false.)

Answer:

Door 2

Explanation:

first I assume door 1 to be the escape door that is the sign on it is false. But that would mean that sign on door 2 will also become false since it says escape is behind door 3 but it is behind door 1 according to my assumption and since 2 signs can't say false door 1 can't be the escape route.

Now let's assume door 3 to be escape door that is sign on it is false. But that would mean that sign on door 1 is also false since escape is behind door 3 according to my assumption. since 2 doors can't have false sign door 3 isn't escape door.

Now let's assume door 2 to be escape door that is the sign on it is false. Now both the statement on door 1 and 2 are true so it's the escape door.
