You cross a plant with red flowers with a plant with white flowers. Both plants are pure-breeding. All the offspring have pink flowers. What allele relationship does this display?

Incomplete dominance (Intraallelic inheritance) where the offsprings resemble neither of the two parental phenotypes and is intermediate between the two.

Answer:

They show the phenomenon of incomplete dominance. It is the phenomenon in which one allele is not able to express completely over the other allele. It results in formation of third phenotype due to the blending of parents traits.

It is important to note that only phenotype show variation but genotype ratio remains normal.

It is usually observed in traits of eye color, skin or fur color, and flower color in some plants.

For example, appearance of pink flowers in F₁ generation of snapdragon flower, grey sheep as a result of white and black sheep, brown fur of rabbit as a result of cross between red and white fur rabbits.
