You eat an apple. This apple contains fructose, a simple sugar, which has the formula c6h12o6 -- where did the carbon in that sugar come from?

The fructose in apple is carbohydrate manufactured by plants using CO2 and H20 as  raw materials so the Carbon in that carbohydrate molecule has been donated by CO2 or it came from CO2 molecule.
