Sub: water crisis in India.

Respected Sir,

Through the esteemed column of your newspaper, I Shalini would like to draw the attention of the authorities and the general public towards the water crisis to be faced by us this year, 2020.

We all in India are observing terrible climatic changes over the last few years. There are so many factors as a whole indicating to us that India is prone to face a high water crisis. Monsoons are being delayed. Because of this, many small reservoirs have already started to show the depressing future of the country. According to a few reports, we are already into a water crisis. Over 50% of people have no access to safe drinking water. We are lacking safe drinking water as harmful fertilizers and big industries have started degrading the quality water in advance.

We all need to take a mass step to stop this water crisis. We need to save every drop of water as every drop is precious for us now. I want the government to take a responsible step in preventing such a crisis. Lastly, it's my kind request to post this letter in your newspaper so that my voice reaches every individual.
