You feel that schools these days conduct too many tests and give too much of homework. Write a
letter to the Editor of an English newspaper to
1 draw the attention of school boards/education department general public to the problem
2 describe how students have to suffer on account of this problem (too much of burden, no time for self-study and play,
nervous breakdowns etc.)
3 suggest what should be done to improve the situation (ban on homework, fewer tests, learning by doing than by
memorising etc.)

Dear Sir

We children feel differently on the issue of Home work given and regular tests conducted.

I am a first place holder in my class and feel so irritated on these issues which no less than nuisances for us . It is so more as Home Works appear to be irrational, irrelevant and given just to engage us in writing and filling pages to creat a false impression that we busy at studies.

Now the issue of test comes. Tests at every now and then has diluted its importance ,value and sanctity. We have lost sensitivity to the word Test as it is made a common item of the school policy.

Through your esteemed daily I want to raise this issue so that The concerned authorities rise to senses and Make use of Tests and Home Works in a rational and useful way so that they appear to be harassment but a fruitful way of shaping the student in the right direction.

Sincerely

Sujud Fatima
