You gave it to the class monitor to hand it over to the class teacher , however he has misplaced it and is unable to return it . In this case the monitor is responsible for loosing the book, so action should be taken against him. He should be the most responsible student of the class but still he has lost the book. A fine can be charged against him equal to the cost of the book, he should get a note in his dairy to be signed by his parents so that they also come to know about this. His post of being a monitor of the class should be taken away from him so that he realizes the seriousness of this thing.
