Sub: Great APJ Abdul Kalam

Dear Ajay:

I hope this mail finds you in the best of health and spirits. I am writing this mail to share with you my veneration for Dr. APJ Kalam. He is the most recent Indian personage that can be termed as a gem of a great leaser. His entire life has been an inspiration. Born in a humble family, he worked his way to great success. He dedicated his life to his motherland. His contributions to make India a strong nation are beyond praise. As a scientist, he gave India the power of missiles. Lethal Agni, Prithvi, Akash, and Nag missiles were added to the national arsenal under his able guidance.

He was a great human being, committed leader, and unparalleled statesman. He wrote many inspirational books; he was a charismatic speaker. His message for the youth of India filled them with new confidence. He appealed to all Indians to adopt the following words: “I can do it. We can do it. India can do it.” His vision was to see India standing among the most advanced nations of the world by 2020. I adore his teachings. I feel if we follow his teachings, we will achieve our national goals much faster. The nation honoured this great soul by inaugurating Dr. APJ Kalam Museum at Rameswaram on July 27, 2017. How is your life going on? Do write back.

Regards,

Narender Sharma

Sub: I met APJ Abdul Kalam

Dear Hari I hope you are doing well and that you are enjoying your course. Here, I too love my course and am doing good in my exams.

Do you remember my telling you how that I have of late been impressed by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam? Imagine my excitement and surprise when he came to preside over our College Day function. Two members from each department were chosen to interact with him and I got my chance to have a lovely discussion with him.

I must tell you that he was a really humble person and was really patient with us. Born in an ordinary family, he rose to one of the most powerful positions in the country. He was also a scientist and has contributed a great deal to India’s development. This has left me with a feeling of wanting to do something for my motherland. He had great ideas for the country and wanted to see it as one of the most developed countries by 2020. I hope his dreams come true.

Another thing I really appreciate in him is that although he was a devout Muslim, he embraces and respects all religions. I have always been proud to be a Hindu, but now I find myself giving less importance to the same.

Shall stop now. Do write to me with all the news from your side.

Regards, Dhruv
