Dear Diary,

Hurrah! I have won! It was my first words when I came to know that I won the first prize in speech competition held in our school.

The competition was in the morning. We were given a fixed topic to work on. It was "Importance of an ideal person" and I prepared myself for the speech very well. After the competition had ended, I was excited.

The results were announced! While giving me the prize and certificate, the HM applauded my efforts. I came back home and smiles on the faces of my parents made my winning a success.
