We have the fraction 36/48.

Numerator is 36 and denominator is 48.

As the numerator should be 9 and 36 ÷ 4 = 9, we have to divide both the numerator

and denominator by 4 to find the equivalent fraction having numerator 9.

So, 36/48=36÷4/48÷4=9/12
