= 3 ÷ 1/6
=3*6
=18
to solve this division sign is replaced by multiplication sign and the no. in denominator becomes nominator and vice versa....
so to get the same result we have to multiply 3 by 6

take one more example
3÷3/4
=3*4/3
=4
