Here it is...
Explanation:
This was it. My only chance of suceeding in life. My whole career was on the line for this one interview. I slowly got dressed, into my smart tie and freshly pressed shirt. I could do this.
After what felt like hours of preparing what I was going to say in the mirror, I finally had to leave otherwise I would of been late. I walked to the bus stop opposite my house and waited. After minutes, I was on the bus, and next to a women who's baby wouldn't stop crying...
It was my stop. I slowly pressed the 'STOP' button on the bus and then it came to a hault. Off I went, to my interview. I wanted to be a club reporter, you see. I have always wanted to be one - it's my dream.
I walked into the office building and waited for my name to be called. ''James Roberts?'' said a voice. I turned around. A woman, with blonde hair and a clipboard stood before me. ''Yes, here...'' I stuttered as I stood up.
I walked behind the woman, and into a small room with a table and 2 chairs. ''Goodmorning, James.'' said the woman. I smiled. ''My name is Vanessa Port and I will be your interviewer today. I believe you are meaning to become a club reporter for this company?'' I nodded.
''Yes.'' I said. I felt confident, but I didn't want to seem arogant. I knew I could do it, I just didn't know how. After what felt like hours of questions, I finally did it. ''I have made my decision. Quickly.'' The woman smiled. I smiled eagerly.
''You have passed. Welldone, you may leave. Please contact this number for more infomation. Goodbye!'' she said as she handed me a slip of paper. I was over the moon, but tried to hide it. As soon as I got out of the door, I punched the air. ''Yes!'' I grinned. ''I did it!'' Many people in the waiting room stared at me with strange expressions like I was mad, but I didn't care. I did it.
