Hope you're doing okay.
You know how you let me borrow your notebook? Well, I accidentally misplaced it somewhere and I can't find it. I'm really sorry, I looked for it everywhere but I can't find it. I can buy you a new one if you want. I remember I had it during class but when I came back from lunch I couldn't find it. Maybe someone took it? Maybe they remembered it was yours and wanted to give it back or something. I'm sure they'll give it back though. I hope you can forgive me.
