Answer:

It was a rainy afternoon and my parents had gone out for a movie and I was all alone at home, studying for my upcoming examinations. I had my Maths exam the next day and I reserved the entire evening for revising some old sums followed by a bit of practice.

As I was about to start with my revision, the bell rang. I went out to check who it was at the door and surprisingly, I found my aunt and uncle waiting at the door. To be honest, I was not happy because it just spoiled all my evening study plans. However, I couldn't afford to be rude with them and hence welcomed them inside and offered tea and snacks.

They enquired about my parents and asked me if I was doing well. Firstly, they planned to wait for my parents but later decided to visit our neighbour who happens to be our relative too. They spent around half an hour in our place and then proceeded to our neighbour's house. Luckily, my studies were not hampered and I could manage everything well.

Answer:

I was sitting at my study desk, trying to study. It was the perfect time for learning as my whole family was gone to a movie in the nearby theater. Nobody to disturb, I was alone in my room learning, for my Mathematics exam.

I was revising the trigonometric formulas when suddenly the phone rang. I was pretty sure that it was my parents calling me to find whether I was alright. When I picked up the phone, I heard a different person speaking. It was my uncle, Michael. I asked why he called me. He said that he and my aunt were coming to visit my parents. I told them that they had gone to the theatre. They said that they would just come home and take me to the cinema. I forgot about the fact that I had my Mathematics exam the next day. They arrived, and we went to watch a movie.

I remembered that I had the Mathematics exam the next day only after the movie was over. We saw the movie "Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban" and came home. When we arrived home, I was panicking, and I only had a small amount of time to revise, so I stayed up all night and learned. I was so dizzy the next day as I did not get any sleep, but as the question paper was easy, I did well in the exam and scored good marks.
