Dear Diary,
Oh God! I still can’t believe that people can be so cruel and insensitive. I had the misfortune of witnessing a road accident today. Two young men riding a bike had a head-on collision with a car. The driver of the car fled as soon as he realized that his car had hit the bike. While lots of people gathered to see the accident nobody did anything to take the seriously injured bikers to hospital. They were writhing in pain and their cries still echo in my ears. At last I called the police; however, it was too late. Although, policemen arrived shortly and took the injured to hospital they died on the way. What shocked was the apathy of the people.
It still hurts me to think that they could perhaps have been saved if they had been taken to hospital in time. How I wish I had acted faster.
