Hi there!
Power is defined as, P = V²/R
Thus,
R = V²/P
For first bulb :
Power, P = 40 W
For second bulb :
Power, P = 60 W
Potential difference is same for both ( They are connected in Parallel )
♦ Resistance for first Bulb :
(220² )/40 = 1210 Ohm
♦ Resistance for second Bulb :
(220² )/60 = 806.67 Ohm
The First one has greater resistance!
Hence,
It'll glow more indicating more heat produced due to increasing Resistance.
