you have 2 metallic wires of resistance 6 ohm and 3ohm how will u connect these wires to get the effective resistance of 2 ohm​

Connect them in parallel.

1÷R = (1÷6) + (1÷3)

hence, R = 2

Parallel connection
Since 1/R = 1/r1 + 1/r2
1/R = 1/6 + 1/3 = 1+2/6
Therefore 1/R = 1/2
And R= 2
