#Anything which has a pH of 7 is neutral
#substances having pH greater than 7 is basic
#substances having pH less than 7 is acidic
=> since pH if A us 6 which is less than 7 , hence A is acidic.
=> since pH of B is 8 ,which is more than 7 hence it is basic.
NOTE:
1. ACIDIC SUBSTANCES HAVE MORE H+ CONCENTRATION
2.BASIC SUBSTANCES HAVE MORE OH- CONCENTRATION.
3.NEUTRAL SUBSTANCES HAVE EQUAL CONCENTRATTION OF BOTH H+ AND OH-
from the above facts acidic substances have more H+ concentration, and we know A is acidic.
Therefore the anwer is A, substance A have more H+(hydrogen ion) concentration.
