You know that you had hydrogen chloride (HCl), lithium sulfate(Li2SO4), and ethanol (C2H5OH). How could you determine which beaker contains which compound? Describe two diagnostic tests, including expected results that you could use to identify the three solutions and allow you to label your beakers.
