ANS : You can have 4 resistances .

SOLUTION : If you consider each resistance to be R , then you can have the following resistances :-

1. You can have all the resistors in series . Then equivalent resistance will be R+R+R = 3R

2. You can have all the resistors in parallel . Then equivalent resistance will be R/3

3. You can have any two resistors in series and the other resistor in parallel with the resistors in series . Then equivalent resitance will be 2R/3

4. You can connect any two resistors in parallel and the third resistor in series with the parallel combination . Then equivalent resistance will be 3R/2 .
