You have a bag of cotton and iron bar each of mass 100kg in reality one is heavier than the other which one is heavier and why?

As Mass is given 100 kg each that means both are equal practically.


But accounting to physics...


As cotton is bulky in nature it will experience more buoyant force as compared to iron.

So we can say that apparent weight of iron is more than that of cotton.

hey Frnd....
Both have same masses then we can predict their heaviness by their density.
so the density of cotton will be less then iron.
and also cotton is more bulky then iron.

So we can say that 100kg cotton is more heavier then iron.
