Given:-

  • Volume of rock ,V = 35cm³

  • Mass ,m = 350g

To Find:-

  • Density ,D

Solution:-

As we know that density is defined as the mass per unit volume .

• D = m/V

Substitute the value we get

→ D = 350/35

→ D = 10g/cm³

Therefore, the density of the rock is 10g/cm³.

Hence, Option (A) is the correct answer.

Additional Information!!!

• Mass per unit density is called volume.

Mathematical term

• V = m/D

• SI unit of volume is metre cube (m³) .

• SI unit of mass is kilogram (kg).

SI unit of density is g/cm³ & kg/.

Given

  • Volume = 35 cm³
  • Mass = 350 g

We Find

Density of given

We Know

Formula used :-

\boxed{\red{Density = Volume / Mass}}

According to the question

 {\red{Density = Volume / Mass}} \\ \\

 {\red{Density = 350 / 35}} \\ \\

 {\red{Density = \cancel\frac{350}{35}}}\\ \\

 \boxed {\red{Density = 10 g/cm³}} \\ \\

Hence, Density of given is 10 g/cm³ ( option A ).
