you have a saturated solution at 353K . state what would happen to its concentration when 1. solvent is added to it 2. split is added to it 3. it is heated 4. it is cooled

1 When more solvent is added to it will have more solubility and can dissolve more solute.
3 when it is heated its temperature will rise and its solubility will increase again
4 When it is cooled its solubility will decrease as the kinetic energy would decrease.

Mus124: what actually you mean by split

Answer:

1.The solution becomes less concentrated and dilute

2. The concentration remains same though we dissolve more solute. No solute can dissolve because the solution has attained the saturation

3.The concentration is increased in a super saturated solution

4. The concentration remains the same.

Hope this helps you
