Dear Diary:
I am so happy today; I have been appointed as the head prefect of the students’ council. Well, the responsibilities of the head prefect are many. He has the responsibility of maintaining discipline in the school. He has to assign duties to prefects during the arrival, break, and dispersal. The students’ council takes part in inter-school or any other school celebrations.
Apart from maintaining school discipline and doing special day duties, head prefect has to actively take part in inter-school curricular and sports competitions. I am going to give my 100 % to my duties. That’s all dear diary. Good night.

Dear diary,
Today, before the whole school, in the Investiture Ceremony, I was declared the school prefect! I was shaking with nervousness, my thoughts were in a mess, and I could barely standstill when the principal pinned the badge on my shirt. The cheering of the assembly, the broad smiles on my friend's faces were reminders that it was occurrence, it was true and not just a dream.
You can imagine the happiness of mum and dad! I have satisfied their prospect, I have made not only mine, but their dreams come true! I pray with all my heart that I do not contradict the faith reposed in me and prove true to the task given to me. I have every meaning of being a good prefect. Pray for me.
