I am Roshini from standard 8th. Today I am going to brief you all about the merits and demerits of driving on the city roads.
City roads are full of hustle and bustle and driving carefully on the roads should be our responsibility. Anybody who drives on city roads should be careful about few aspects such as:
Merits:
• Traffic signals at junctions help to organize the traffic movement in the city.
• Unlike small town roads, city roads are broader and its thrill to drive on such roads.
• City roads are mostly well maintained and pothole free.
• Usually, no encroachments are found on the city roads, thus driving is hindrance free.
Demerits:
• City roads require more cautious driving than small town roads due to heavy traffic.
• The roads are usually broad and pothole free thus speed limit should be maintained to avoid any causality.
Word of Caution:
Using helmets and seat belts should be every citizen’s responsibility.
