Me: Our next program is an interview. You might be surprised to hear that the interviewee is Miss Anitha Agarwal, the Miss India of this year. I wish it would be a wonderful time for you all.
Me: Hello, Miss Anitha Agarwal. Welcome to Radio 9.
Anitha: Hello
Me: First of all, let us all congratulate for your precious position of becoming the Miss India of this year.
Anitha: Thank you so much.
Me: Let me ask you about your family.
Anitha: My family consists of my dad, my mum and my younger brother.
Me: You are a student, aren’t you?
Anitha: Yes, I am currently doing my Second Year of my Bachelors at St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
Me: How did you actually end up in this position?
Anitha: It is actually my family who pushed me into this field.
Me: How did your family help you in acquiring the first position?
Anitha: Indeed they treated me equal to my brother. I have never heard them say ‘You are a girl. You are not to do that’. They gave me confidence that helped me in answering the questions during the contest.
Me: What were the preparations that you made for the contest?
Anitha: First of all, I started a disciplined life. Special care was given to diet, exercise and yoga in my daily routine.
Me: Do you prefer opting this field as as your profession?
Anitha: Well, yes. I am planning to continue this as far as possible.
Me: What is your advice to your admirers?
Anitha: I wanted to convey that it is because of my disciplined life, my hard work and interest in this field that made me achieve this position. Moreover it is God’s grace too.
