Era:

I would choose the era of 3137 BC.

Reason:

This is the time when Mahabharata occured in the holy land of india. If given a chance i would land in this era to witness mahabharata live. I would see the epic with my own eyes and re write it in my own way but i will never disclose the book to anyone because I don't want to distort the beauty of Actual Mahabharata written by Rishi Vyasa.
