salt solution along with 2.9 volt cells, a
electrodes an electric bulb and a were
without tasting the solution. How would you
identity which contain sugar and which contai
salt. Explain with the help of a diagram.

Answer:

1) Use the wires, two electrodes, battery and electric bulb to construct an open electric circuit .

2) Now dip both the electrodes into both the solutions one by one without having a physical contact between the electrodes .

3) During this test , if the bulb glows (circuit gets closed and current flows) that means that the solution is an aqueous salt solution as it is conducts electricity and if the bulb does not glow then the solution is a sugar solution .

4) Using this activity , we can identify both the solution without tasting them .

Sorry I can't provide the diagram

You can write the answer for your homework by extracting some key points from the answer and write it as an activity .
