Dear Diary,
What a wonderful day it has been! I cannot express how happy I am. As you know today I went on a sight seeing trip to a lake in Sundarbani. Mummy and daddy also accompanied.
We got up at 6.30 am and I was so excited. I had been planning about the trip from two weeks. I took a bath quickly and was ready in seconds. Mummy and daddy had made all the preparations and we left by 7.00 am. The morning was beautiful, the sky was clear and birds were chirping.
We started trekking, the landscape was magnificent, fresh air was caressing my face. I was so happy and I enjoyed myself. The trek was long and we finally reached the lake after an hour. I cannot describe how beautiful the lake was. There was stillness, leaves were rustling and turquoise water of the lake was breathtaking. A pair of swans were swimming and I could feel nature all around me. I was overwhelmed by the beauty. We took pictures near the lake. You know mummy is such a good poser.
After some time we took out a blanket laid it on the forest bed and had our breakfast. You know having breakfast in such a magnificent place is an experience in itself. I was living every moment. After four hours we decided to come back home. I did not want to say goodbye to the lake but all things come to an end.
It was wonderful diary. I am planning to go to the lake again with my friends. What a day! Goodnight.
