To find:

Possible connections for the five capacitors to produce a total capacitance of 50 F.

Solution:

If there are 5 capacitors of 10 F capacitance then if we connect all of them in parallel then the equivalent capacitance will be:

C = 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10

C = 50 F

Only, if all the capacitors are connected in parallel, then only the equivalent capacitance will be 50 F.

Hence a parallel connection for the five capacitors will produce a total capacitance of 50 F.
